4. Vs. Sheamus (WrestleMania XXVIII)

It'd be easy to regard Daniel Bryan's 18-second loss to Sheamus at WrestleMania XXVIII as one of the show's biggest ever letdowns. Though fans were perturbed by the brevity of the match and the fact someone so well-regarded was squashed on the biggest show of the year, it arguably made Bryan as a heel.

Equipped with something they could tease him with, fans helped Daniel turn the loss into a positive and watched as he showed more personality than ever before.

That's not to suggest it wouldn't have been better to see he and Sheamus handed 10-15 minutes of ring time to make up for what happened at 'Mania XXVII. One year on from having their US Title match axed from the main card, both must have been excited about working for the World Title. That anticipation faded.

There's no doubt that this one would be higher on the list had it been given more time. Sheamus and Bryan proved their worth the next month in a stunning Two-Out-Of-Three Falls match at Extreme Rules, and it would've been nice to see that sort of thing at 'Mania.
