Without Evolution, there would be no Randy Orton.

Orton's first year in WWE as a member of the SmackDown brand was largely forgettable, and had Evolution not come along, it's very possible he would never been given a shot at super stardom. However, Triple H saw him for the star that he was and was important as anyone in his progress as a performer.

It would have been easy for Orton to fly under the radar in Evolution, but he instead he found ways to stand out and thrive as a heel. While with the group, he held the Intercontinental Championship for over 200 days and even won the World Heavyweight Championship at the age of 24.

Of course, that was what led to him being booted from the stable immediately afterward due to Triple H's obvious jealousy of his pupil, but it was high time Orton did his own thing, anyway. His face run wasn't the greatest, but everything else following that made him the main event player he is today.

The group left such a lasting impact in WWE that fans rejoiced for their reunion in 2014 when they rivaled The Shield in a stellar series of matches. Their most recent reunion at SmackDown 1000 in October 2018 was also well received.

Save for The Shield, it's highly improbable WWE will ever see a stable quite like Evolution again.
