Ranking All Of The Undertaker Vs. Brock Lesnar WWE Matches From Worst To Best
4. Unforgiven 2002
Next up we have the very first time that these two big brutes ever squared off. Lesnar was fresh off dominant victories over both Hulk Hogan and The Rock, so it was only fitting that he then crossed paths with a legend who could challenge him physically. That legend was, of course, Big Evil.
This wasn't an easy one to place. It was slow-moving and even a little messy at times, but that was the entire point here. There weren't any noticeable botches; just two monsters attempting to outpower each other and prove their dominance. It wasn't pretty but bah gawd was it entertaining.
'Taker and Lesnar hadn't quite found their groove together at this point, but there were flashes of that in-ring chemistry they were beginning to establish together.
The double DQ finish was a huge cop out that fans understandably vocalised their distaste for, but the silver lining of it was that it set up a far superior contest the following month. And hey, the ending - which saw a fatigued Undertaker send Lesnar through the Unforgiven sign - was appropriately destructive.
