The Undertaker's usually dominant face rendered unrecognisable by a thick flow of blood is a sight that will forever sum up the brutality of this match. An image as infamous (if not more) than Lesnar's snapping of The Streak a decade later, it was fitting that this match inspired the sequence that broke it because this was, in many ways, when 'Taker truly passed the torch to Brock Lesnar.

Big Evil had one job here, and that was to believably elevate the young Beast. He elevated him by putting him over, but he made it believable by taking him to hell and back in order to do it. And by doing so, he too found it within himself to deliver his best in-ring performance in years.

A violent and barbaric match that is hard to watch because of how well they used the cell itself, this is what the perfect Undertaker and Brock Lesnar match is supposed to look like. These two men took each other to the limit - and way past it - ensuring that both of them walked out of the Devil's Playground looking more dominant than ever.

They nailed the drama here and they've only outdone it once...
