Randy Orton Jeff Hardy Hell in a Cell
WWE

Hell In A Cell 2018 was en route to becoming a classic WWE pay-per-view after its first four matches, as AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe concluded the hottest opening run this company has produced all year. Unfortunately, the ensuing Miz & Maryse vs. Daniel Bryan & Brie Bella pantomime and a Ronda Rousey/Alexa Bliss match that saw 'The Baddest Woman On The Planet' selling for entirely too long slowed it down, but it was an awesome show regardless.

That image of Randy Orton twisting a screwdriver around Jeff Hardy's earhole shall remain imprinted on our memories forever, as will Becky Lynch taking Charlotte Flair's SmackDown Women's Title. What magnificent bastards.

Best Moment: Rarely do modern Hell In A Cell matches summon the stipulation's old violence, but Jeff Hardy vs. Randy Orton did. Bitter, brutal, and grisly, it was pure torture porn. Dolph Ziggler & Drew McIntyre vs. Dean Ambrose & Seth Rollins was a major highlight as well.

Worst Moment: The sole blot on an otherwise excellent card, Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman was so bad it had us wondering how their awesome 2017 feud could possibly have come from the same performers.
