Ranking Every 2018 WWE PPV From Worst To Best

8. Money In The Bank

Asuka James Ellsworth Money in the Bank
WWE

Money In The Bank often holds a quality advantage over other B-tier WWE pay-per-views because its two titular ladder matches almost guarantee excitement. They aren't always great, particularly in this safety-first era, but they rarely fall short of expectations, and 2018 was no different.

Though Braun Strowman and Alexa Bliss proved controversial victors for very different reasons, the preceding action was on point, with Kevin Owens taking a particularly insane bump during the men's main event. Elsewhere on the show was the miraculous sight of Ronda Rousey somehow dragging excellence from Nia Jax, the best Shinsuke Nakamura vs. AJ Styles clash to date, a surprisingly fun Seth Rollins vs. Elias Intercontinental Title scrap, and the unfortunate death of Asuka.

Best Moment: Both ladder matches delivered, but the women get the nod for what felt like a make-good after James Ellsworth's interference the previous year. Speaking of people with no chins...

Worst Moment: WWE deciding to eviscerate Asuka's threat level by making her look a big, dumb idiot in falling for Ellsworth's distraction versus Carmella. She has since embarked on the road to recovery, but this was a dark night for 'The Empress Of Tomorrow.'
