Ranking Every 2019 WWE Draft Pick So Far From Worst To Best
9. Drew McIntyre
Draft Position: #3 to Raw. #5 overall.
This is where things get slightly more interesting.
WWE dropped the ball spectacularly with Drew McIntyre over the summer. His interactions with The Undertaker at Extreme Rules should've led to a career-boosting victory over the legend at SummerSlam, but they didn't. Instead, McIntyre was cast as Shane McMahon's bodyguard. Hardly a bad spot, yet hardly what his career needed.
McIntyre has been ready to ascend up the ladder towards main events for years now. If the Universal belt stays on Mondays, he'd be a great shout to capture it before the end of the year, or possibly after winning January's Royal Rumble. WWE owe it to themselves to give the Scotsman a shot.
