8. Money In The Bank

The Good: Seth Rollins Vs AJ Styles was a total banger. Though they're both beloved, they're often short a present-day WWE ripper to argue the toss for themselves. this was decisively it. Bayley's unexpected Money In The Bank win and SmackDown Women's Championship cash-in later that night went down a storm with her browbeaten fanbase after partner Sasha Banks' real life post-WrestleMania exit. It was a relatively elegant way of getting one of the belts back from Becky Lynch too - she was made to work twice and cheated out the blue brand's belt thanks to interference from the already-beaten Lacey Evans.

The Bad: Kofi Kingston's semi-main event against Kevin Owens was a huge letdown after a big post-WrestleMania angle between the two. Tony Nese's Cruiserweight Championship defence against Ariya Daivari was the first to get pay-per-view backing of this nature in an age. The pair threw it away, assembling a totally forgettable tussle despite the extra eyes.

The Ugly: Brock Lesnar's end-of-the-match insertion into the men's Money In The Bank encountered bordered on the intolerably gross for some, but the truth behind it was duller. WWE didn't have star heels for Seth Rollins to beat, so they went to the last programme they'd tried that had worked and just rehashed it over the summer.
