7. Fastlane

The Good: Fastlane's main event was one of the best examples of one of WWE's best modern tropes. The company have become deft with a multi-man match over the last decade, and fewer acts have benefitted from this as much as The Shield. The group's last major pay-per-view stand before Dean Ambrose's April exit, this thrilling and emotional war against proper heel d*ckeheads Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre was one of the most satisfying and cathartic contests of the year. There's been lots of silly sh*t in the 2010s, but it's always been easy to Believe In The Shield. Elsewhere, some wicked tags and triple threats matches shored up the undercard and Shane McMahon's heel turn on The Miz went down a treat.

The Bad: Becky Lynch was gifted back her spot n the WrestleMania main event thanks to a Ronda Rousey run-in during her all-or-nothing match with Charlotte. This was meddling in the extreme, and not entirely different to the issues being experienced over on SmackDown.

The Ugly: The Bar Vs Kofi Kingston was an infuriating bore. A naked and uncreative delaying tactic for Kofi Kingston's WrestleMania push having rejigged his spot with Kevin Owens', the company took his white hot built and almost extinguished in crushing fashion.
