6. Elimination Chamber

The Good: The closing stretch of the eponymous headliner topped Daniel Bryan's previous best-of-all-time Chamber finale against Santino Marella. Bryan and Kofi Kingston engaged in a 12-minute one-on-one thriller after already enduring nearly 25 of them in the main Chamber clash itself. Going up the gears, the two chased and captured the heat around Kofi's unlikely victory with magnificent ease - a Trouble In Paradise counter highlighted the gripping final third. The structure played host to tear-soaked history elsewhere on the show - Sasha Banks and Bayley's capturing of the brand new Women's Tag Team Championships felt as satisfying to watch and it clearly felt to be living through. They looked joyous at the prospect of a long maiden run. But more on that later.

The Bad: Limping Becky Lynch was becoming a bit of an irritant around this point as WWE tried desperately to make it seem as if anybody but her stood a chance at WrestleMania, but a heated standoff with both Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair dragged something from Rousey's humbling squash victory over Ruby Riott at least.

The Ugly: Baron Corbin had been called worse than sh*t for being ratings poison just months earlier, but intentions were far clearer in the booking than the promos - the 'Lone Wolf' was getting his push. Leading Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre in a three-on-one beardown of Braun Strowman, the future king actually got to win his programme over the 'Monster Among Men' despite being a disposable d*ckhead the whole time.
