Ranking Every AEW Championship Reign Of 2023

9. The Acclaimed - AEW World Tag Team Championship

FTR The Acclaimed
AEW

AEW, at its best, is the land of opportunity - and the Acclaimed are a prime example of that. Through the power of character work and astute booking to help them establish themselves as viable champions, Castor and Bowens came into 2023 as one of the most over acts in the company.

However, with only 30 minutes of defence time in 2023, it's hard to place The Acclaimed much higher. The match quality was consistently good and they were must-see TV, but they dropped the titles in early February - rather unexpectedly, at that - ending the reign at 140 days.

Despite that, the run as a complete article really cemented The Acclaimed as one of the most important units in AEW. This might be their first but, surely, will be far from their last time holding the tag team championships.
