20. Hikaru Shida - AEW World Women's Championship

Orange Cassidy International
AEW

Hikaru Shida brings a certain prestige to the AEW Women's World Championship, as well as international flair. Her second title win felt like a big deal because many fans remembered her 372-day prior run, and it was a wonderful moment to reward her by having her win it in front of a crowd when she had previously held it through the company's empty arena days in 2020.

However, eyes narrowed with suspicion as Shida's second title win felt a little bit insincere. She captured the gold on Dynamite's 200th episode, perhaps just a way to make the card a bit more memorable, and it seemed as though she was being set up to drop it again a few weeks later when the company flew to England.

Of course, all of this proved to be true. It was great that she was able to perform at Wembley Stadium, but the belt moving around felt so needlessly arbitrary.
