Ranking Every AEW Wrestler's 2020 From Worst To Best
5. MJF
Nobody has a better chance of becoming the mainstream-breaking once-in-a-generation star required to finally restore wrestling's popularity than MJF, who took several big steps forward in 2020.
He is an outstanding talker, a transcendent personality, and one of the best heels in the business, but you knew that already, 'The Salt of the Earth' was all of these things long before stepping foot in AEW. His weekly excellence in segments and angles barely needs pointing out.
The old criticism of MJF was always that his in-ring lagged behind his other work, though this is no longer the case. Chris Jericho's latest protege now works a classical, timeless heel style as well as anyone, with his performances opposite Cody Rhodes and Jungle Boy particularly impressive. The wrestling world is now his for the taking.
