Ranking Every AEW Wrestler's 2020 From Worst To Best

3. Cody Rhodes

AEW ranked 2020
AEW

That Cody Rhodes is the most ambitious man in American wrestling means his bouts will occasionally suffer from burning through one idea too many, as we saw against Lance Archer, but this is the same ambition that made him such a powerful, potent figure in the sport in the first place.

Rhodes' two TNT Championship runs were masterful examples of weekly TV wrestling. More than a nickname, Rhodes' 'Ace Championship' was elevated far beyond secondary status. As were his opponents, all of whom emerged from their tangles with Cody stronger than when they went in, with Ricky Starks and Eddie Kingston earning full-time deals on the strength of their showings.

Cody has everything on his resume, from great feuds (Darby Allin, MJF, Brodie Lee) and big-time matches, to immense megastar charisma and a sharp mind for the business. He has demonstrated this every week of 2020.
