Ranking Every Ambulance Match In Wrestling History From Worst To Best

6. Ryback vs. John Cena (WWE Payback 2013)

This feels like cheating, but John Cena and Ryback did technically have an Ambulance Match as part of their 'Three Stages Of Hell' showdown at Payback 2013. After Ryback had won the initial Lumberjack Match, Cena then fired back to equal the score at 1-1 in a Tables Match. That only left the Ambulance gimmick for the third 'Stage'.

Both guys had been wrestling for over 17 minutes by the time they were tasked with working this stipulation, so it's forgivable that they moved slowly until the end. The entire match boiled down to one big spot, anyway; Ryback stupidly followed Cena up onto the top of the ambulance and was hit with an Attitude Adjustment through the vehicle's roof.

Unlike WCW, at least WWE had the sense to book a proper finish to this one. The live crowd did pop for Cena's move - and Ryback took it like a champ - but this was very much middle of the road stuff. This 'Three Stages Of Hell' does come recommended as a whole, but the Ambulance Match portion is slightly lacking.
