Ranking Every Ambulance Match In Wrestling History From Worst To Best

7. GI Bro vs. Mike Awesome (WCW Monday Nitro - May 29, 2000)

Booker T DDP Mike Awesome

Rounding off the worst of WCW Ambulance Matches was GI Bro vs. Mike Awesome. What's that? You're looking at the picture accompanying this entry and clearly seeing Booker T? You're 100% correct - but that's Booker complete with a dodgy military gimmick that had fans yearning for Sgt. Craig Pittman.

It was hard to take Booker seriously when he cut a pre-match promo saying he would be GI Bro forever, and it didn't help that (once again) Diamond Dallas Page was booked to run in on one of Awesome's matches. This time he at least allowed Booker and Awesome to do some watchable brawling in the ring and on the entrance ramp before spoiling the fun.

Smashing Awesome from behind with a steel chair, DDP and Booker then hit a double Chokeslam on Awesome through a table before gently placing Awesome in an ambulance. For those keeping score, Awesome had lost no less than three of his supposed favourite matches in WCW by this point.
