It was a vicious attack at the hands of Ryback that put Jericho on the shelf in mid-2013, but he didn't go after his assailant when he emerged on Raw a year later. Instead, it was The Miz - himself returning after taking time off to film The Marine - who took a Codebreaker for his efforts.
The crowd were as excited as ever to see the former Undisputed Champion back, but it felt like there was something missing thereafter. Jericho got one over on The Miz but immediately fell victim to an ambush from Bray Wyatt, by whom he would be defeated weeks later at SummerSlam.
His 2014 run only lasted a matter of months before he was back on the road, and whilst it was a useful one for Wyatt, it was uncharacteristically lacking in memorable moments.
