We began 2016 with the news that Jericho was back - and this time it wasn't just for a couple of weeks; he was genuinely back, full-time, and ready to embark on one of his most memorable WWE runs of all.

It started, fittingly, with a bang, when Y2J interrupted The New Day - with whom he then shared a nice back-and-forth on the mic - to confirm his participation in the upcoming Royal Rumble.

At the event itself, he lasted nearly an hour before being dumped out by Dean Ambrose - but it was what came after that made his 2016 turn so memorable. The feud (and WrestleMania showdown) with AJ Styles. The friendship with Kevin Owens, and the not-knowing when and how it would unravel.
