Result: Tozawa nails Gallagher with a Bridged German Suplex to advance (11:38).

Rating: The crowd were wildly behind Gallagher from the get-go, and justifiably so given his immense technical skill and entertaining personality. Gallagher rolling Tozawa up into a pretzel-ball thing was terrifically weird and amusing, and though this was Gallagher almost all the way, Tozawa still held his own well enough to stage an impressive, plausible comeback.

This was by far the most unpredictable CWC match so far and a lot of fans both in attendance and online seemed genuinely dismayed that Gallagher took the loss. One can only hope he'll get signed to NXT soon enough, because he'll go down a treat there (though the main WWE roster might prove a little more challenging for him). 7/10
