Ranking Every Finishing Move In WWE Today

16. Rhyno: Gore

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xXeFJf0iyiM A few slides back we talked about Roman Reigns' spear, but simply, Rhyno does it better. With The Man Beast back in WWE, we get to see two men with the same finishing move, which doesn't happen too often. When Rhyno dishes out The Gore, he just has a little more intensity behind it. Reigns seems to stop with his opponent, while Rhyno seems to go through them. It's doubtful that we'll see him take the move to the main roster, but we should be able to enjoy it in NXT a little longer.

15. Finn Balor: Diving Double Foot Stomp

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0A4wfwrUrts If you imagine yourself being on the receiving end of a finishing move from a WWE/NXT roster member, Finn Balor's seems like it could potentially be the most painful to be hit with. While other moves hide a bit of their impact to make them look more devastating than they really are, we watch Balor jump off the top rope and jam his feet into his opponent upon landing. Ouch! What makes it work so well is that anyone at any size would feel the impact of it. From a Neville to The Big Show, having someone jump on your belly from high in the air has just plain got to hurt.

14. Cesaro: The Neutralizer

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DUPn1OI_kfI Since the traditional piledriver is banned in WWE these days, The Neutralizer is about as close as you can get to the classic wrestling move. It also resembles a safer version of The Styles Clash. The finisher isn't the flashiest in the company, but it does look especially impressive when he performs it on a larger opponent like The Great Khali.

13. Daniel Bryan: Running Knee

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=laivCzN6u3k While Daniel Bryan's running knee is one of the most boring sounding finishers in recent memory, it's still a fun one to watch. It works well for Bryan, as the undersized wrestler is able to pull it off convincingly on anyone on the roster. It also borrows a little bit from Shawn Michaels Sweet Chin Music when he tunes up the band. He's able to stand in the corner, and get the crowd revved up as he does the Yes chant before he strikes. The crowd loves it. Bryan's speed and athleticism take this running knee to another level. Some opponents are able to sell it as if they've been shot. Hopefully he's able to make a full recovery and dish out plenty more running knees in the future.

12. The Ascenion: Fall Of Man

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TO-w9YxZtgU Tag team moves can be tricky to pull off. You need the timing of two men to be perfect to make them look good. Konor and Viktor sometimes make Fall of Man look downright devastating, especially when their victim completely flips over after impact. It's a similar move to ECW's Eliminators with one of the tag members using a leg sweep, but a kick to the face has been traded in for a running elbow. Unfortunately for The Ascension, with the way they're being booked these days, we rarely get to see them hit this delightful finisher.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
