Ranking Every Finishing Move In WWE Today

67. R-Truth: What's Up?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8e0jjJcEXuE What's Up? is another one of those finishing moves that would hurt the person delivering the move more than the person actually taking it. Jumping up into the air and landing on your back probably doesn't feel that great you would think. It's basically a version of a Flatliner used by other wrestlers like Kanyon, Scott Steiner, and former TNA wrestler Judas Mesias. Perhaps due to Truth's style, or lack of size, it just doesn't look that devastating.

66. Goldust: Final Cut

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KzzkkdIdFFU Goldust has experimented with multiple finishers over his lengthy career in the business, but perhaps his most well-known one was the Curtain Call used during the Attitude Era. In the twilight of his career he's now moved over to The Final Cut, which is a fairly even trade. It's easy enough to pull off, and easy on the opponents' body. Goldust lifts his opponent in the air for a suplex maneuver, then twists and spins down with them. Not exactly a show-stealer, but still more legal in the grand scheme of things than Shattered Dreams, which was just a good old fashioned kick in the balls.

65. Los Matadores: No Name

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SI_vCAphBBs It's hard to say if this maneuver is still the duo's finishing move, as well...they never win. And when they do somehow come out on top, it's usually by roll-up after a distraction from El Torito. Still, since Diego and Fernando no longer have finishing moves of their own, we'll go with this...whatever they call it. While it's always cool to see a double team finisher for a tag team, this one is fairly bland. The two are quick, high-flyers, so something aerial would be more impressive. Make no mistake, this is no 3D, Doomsday Device or Hart Attack. Ole!

64. Tamina Snuka: Savate Kick

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3SAa9tfs3rs It's hard to tell exactly what Tamina's finisher is these days, as she appears to have abandoned her father's Superfly Splash (impressive), as well as a Samoan Drop (meh) to end her outings. We don't see many singles victories from her, she usually interferes in matches involving Naomi, or runs in during a tag match to dish out a Savate Kick. She has the agility and power to pull it off, and it looks like it could pretty easily knock you out if you were on the receiving end of one.

63. Mark Henry: World's Strongest Slam

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-b9Nbb2t_s Henry's World's Strongest Slam suffers from the dilemma hurting Wade Barrett's and Big Show's finishers, in that Henry could probably hit it anytime he want. Sure, he'd at least need to lift his opponent up in the air, but since he's legitimately a powerhouse of epic proportions, that shouldn't be much of a problem. Working in favor of the move, though, is that it probably would hurt like a hell if a 400 lb man decided to throw you to the mat with all of his weight on top of you. You also have to give him some credit, as it's at least flashier than other large male wrestlers finishers like a Viscera or Yokozuna, who basically just sat on their opponents.

As Rust Cohle from True Detective said "Life's barely long enough to get good at one thing. So be careful what you're good at." Sadly, I can't solve a murder like Rust...or change a tire, or even tie a tie. But I do know all the lyrics to Hulk Hogan's "Real American" theme song and can easily name every Natural Born Thriller from the dying days of WCW. I was once ranked 21st in the United States in Tetris...on the Playstation 3 version...for about a week. Follow along @AndrewSoucek and check out my podcast at wrestlingwithfriends.com
