Following a summer of teasing the fans, for the first time in over 12 years, Goldberg was back competing in a WWE ring. He spent weeks leading up to Survivor Series building up the hype of his monumental clash with Brock Lesnar, who in turn took it personally. Once we got to Survivor Series in Toronto, Canada, nobody could have guessed what would happen.
In the main event, with no championships on the line, the former WCW Champion was facing off against Brock Lesnar, who was arguably at his peak. Fans were left speechless when the unstoppable Beast Incarnate was not only defeated, but put down in a shocking 86 seconds. One Spear and one Jackhammer later, and one of the most dominant and protected runs in WWE history was squashed.
