6. The Undertaker Vs. Brock Lesnar (2002)

A second appearance for the Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar on this list, and proof that sometimes the original is better than the sequel.

Much of the story of their 2002 meeting revolved around ‘Taker’s injured hand, with the protective cast being used as a weapon to bust Lesnar open early on. As the match soon wore on though, Lesnar would then get the upper hand (no pun intended) and remove the protective cast to leave the Deadman at a distinct disadvantage.

A vicious bladejob then had Undertaker wearing the old crimson mask, to such a degree that this one became difficult to watch at times. That didn’t stop these two from fighting through til the bitter end though, whereupon a freakish show of strength from Lesnar saw him hoist ‘Taker from a tombstone position and onto his massive shoulders.

Naturally, an F5 followed, and at that point it became academic, bringing an end to an absolutely barbaric match-up.
