14. Bret Hart vs. Bob Backlund: WrestleMania 11

Despite being one of the greatest WWE champions of all-time, Bob Backlund won't be most remembered for his tenure with the title but rather for his campaign to become the next president of the United States in the late '90s. During this time, he made many a rivals with Bret Hart being one of them.

At 1994's Survivor Series event, Backlund shocked the world when he beat Hart for the WWE Championship after Bret's brother Owen threw in the towel for him. Hart then continued to target Backlund in the months that followed, challenging him to the first ever "I Quit" match in WWE history at WrestleMania 11.

Although fans were unsure what to expect, they were hopeful of something special considering the exceptional in-ring abilities of both men. Unfortunately, it resulted in one of the most boring bouts to ever occur on the grand stage.

While the match was by no means terrible, it felt as if it dragged on forever. The crowd sat on their hands the entire time, disappointed by the lack of excitement. And worse yet, the words "I quit" never came out of Backlund's mouth; apparently all he had to yell was "yeah" for the referee to call for the bell and name The Hitman the victor.
