Ranking EVERY Impact Wrestler's 2020 From Worst To Best
9. Ace Austin
Ace Austin's 2020 saw him go from flourishing X division mainstay to a pay-per-view main eventer. He calls himself 'The Inevitable' - clearly, for a good reason.
Austin's bouts with Trey Miguel, Willie Mack, and Tessa Blanchard set him up perfectly to win the World Championship number one contender tournament. Main eventing Slammiversary for the vacant title, Ace was actually the last man eliminated from the match, putting in one of the night's finest performances nonetheless.
His alliance with Madman Fulton allowed for some fine tandem performances against The Motor City Machine Guns, The North, and The Good Brothers, including a fun four-team encounter at Bound For Glory. While Ace hasn't been since the 24 October pay-per-view, bar a sole Xplosion appearance, he did scoop the X Division Star of the Year award, despite only spending four months in the division. There couldn't have been a greater end to the year for 'The One True Ace', who now moves on to enter the Super X Cup on 9 January.
