NXT TakeOver: In Your House was a fun throwback to the old event series of the mid-to-late-90s, but it's more memorable for Io Shirai's Women's Title win than this 'Backlot Brawl'. Put it this way: Adam Cole and Velveteen Dream are talented enough that they probably should've come up with something more than a routine scrap in June.

There were some nice moments to enjoy though. Dexter Lumis showing up to kidnap Cole's Undisputed Era pals, Cole himself smashing through a car windshield and the Panama Sunrise finish onto a pile of chairs all came out great. It's just a pity that this pair couldn't make more of the atmospheric opening.

It needed more jump cuts. Only joking.

Best Bit: Adam Cole's car windshield bump.

Worst Bit: Felt a bit too routine.
