This is where things start getting better.

Admittedly, the 'One Final Beat' showdown between old pals-turned-enemies Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa on the 8 April NXT owed a lot to the history between both men. That's history Cole and Dream didn't have on their side a few months later, and it should be a lesson to anyone who thinks these brawls don't need a good story.

Without a healthy portion of bad blood, this one would've been far too long. It swallowed up 48 minutes of TV, but included enough twists and turns to make it worthwhile for anyone who had followed the DIY saga from the beginning. The ad breaks also acted as natural cinematic breaks; sort of like watching a movie on old-school terrestrial telly.

Best Bit: Candice LeRae's involvement.

Worst Bit: Arguably the overall length.
