Ronda Rousey was something a magician in 2018, but as awesome as 'The Baddest Woman On The Planet' looked in victory, her skills at avoiding defeat required some road-testing before fans grew tired of her squash wins. Matches before this against Nia Jax and Alexa Bliss met mixed reactions as a result, but her feud with Nikki Bella revealed the transformation the former UFC Bantamweight Champion had undergone in almost record time.

Adding more to her tool belt with every show, she rapidly became a pro wrestling polymath. At SummerSlam, she was a killer. At Evolution, she was a Sports Entertainer. At Survivor Series, she was both.

The division's awesome match common denominator may have had something to do with it of course.

Ms Consistency was at it again after being on the wrong end of some righteous encounters with former friend Becky Lynch earlier that year. Charlotte Flair was back in the thick of it here, working out of her skin alongside a battered, bruised and bleeding Rousey to craft a sensational showdown that left more on the table for a rainy day. Those clouds eventually formed over WrestleMania 35's MetLife Stadium as the two joined 'The Man' in making history.
