Or that time Shane McMahon and Triple H took something that looked delightful on the poster then used it entirely to charge their egos for the tumultuous years ahead.

Reptilian and robotic in his propensity for swallowing up the skills of others, Shane McMahon gobbled up the resilience of his entire roster to survive ludicrous levels of offence.

He clung on in Kurt Angle's anklelock. He brished off a murderous shotgun dropkick from Finn Bálor. Fending off Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn's insurgent attack genuinely looked easier than battling one of his opponents one-on-one.

Triple H put him down though.

Just as he did every other f*cker in a throwback night for his fragile psyche.

Shinsuke Nakamura and Bobby Roode were at least slammed to death by Braun Strowman en route to being just about the only newer star in the match survived the treacherous Triple H. 'The Game' still had to embody all his cerebralist assassinist clout in the closing stretch of course. It all revolved around the 'King Of Kings' before 'The Monster Among Men' put him down after the fact.
