There was something a little bit depressing about John Cena's raised-stage arrival for his match against inaugral Money In The Bank cash-in beneficiary Edge.

'The Rated-R Superstar' had overseen a notable ratings increase during his month on top after shocking 'The Champ' with his opportunistic attack, but still looked overmatched in the face of the company's clear golden goose. Across 2006, the pair would effectively get each other over as permanent main eventers, but it was hard to shake the feeling here that they were still worlds apart.
