Daniel Bryan showed echoes of the a*sehole he'd become the very moment he broke a WrestleMania promise and cashed in his Money In The Bank contract on new World Champion The Big Show in December 2011.

By January 2012 he was already perfectly and literally cast as a rat trying to escape a cage. Especially when the little sh*thouse actually managed it, title in tact! On a meta level, Bryan was suddenly thriving in the land of actual giants, even if an infamous 18-second loss a few months later was designed to imply that he categorically could.
