Ranking Every Sole Survivor In WWE Survivor Series History
11. Lex Luger (Survivor Series 1993)
The Lex Express might not have been the success that it was supposed to be in the WWE but that wasn't entirely Luger's fault. Lex had been earmarked as the next Hulk Hogan by Vince McMahon yet he didn't possess the charisma or presence of the Hulkster.
WWE tried their hardest to get Lex over though, and 1993 was probably the strongest year of his entire career. Not only did he win the SummerSlam main event, he was also the sole survivor in the Survivor Series main event.
Coupled with that, he had an awesome team on his side, comprised of The Undertaker and The Steiner Brothers. Their opponents were a group of no good foreigners led by Ludvig Borga. The match itself isn't great but the crowd ate up Luger's victory. It was so good, in fact, that even Santa Claus came down to the ring to celebrate. You see, even Old St. Nick enjoys a sole survivor.
