No wrestler has a bigger gap between sole survivals than Ric Flair, who had to wait 15 years for this achievement to happen again. Although he accomplished this twice, his first wasn't one that he should be too proud of.

At the opening bout of Survivor Series 1991, Flair teamed with The Mountie, Ted DiBiase, and The Warlord against Roddy Piper, Bret Hart, Virgil, and The British Bulldog. Things got off to a great start for The Nature Boy when he eliminated Bulldog after 10 minutes. The Warlord was eliminated moments later to even it up but then things got a little silly. Five of the six remaining men started a brawl on the outside leading to their disqualification. The crafty Flair had stayed out of the ruckus making him the sole survivor. It's a similar finish that saw Razor Ramon become a sole survivor in 1995 but it feels a little tainted if the wrestler didn't achieve it by themselves.

Thankfully for Naitch his victory in 2006 was a lot better. The annoying Spirit Squad were put in their place that evening, as a team of legends featuring Flair, Dusty Rhodes, Sgt. Slaughter, and Ron Simmons sent the male cheerleaders back to college. It wasn't easy for Flair, though, as he was in a 3 vs. 1 situation after eight minutes. Any wrestling fan should know that you can never bet against the 16-time world champion, who pulled out every trick in the book to defeat the three adversaries and become a two-time sole survivor. Woooo!
