Ranking Every Sole Survivor In WWE Survivor Series History
23. Tito Santana (Survivor Series 1990)
The Alliance (No, not ECW and WCW) is quite possibly one of the worst Survivor Series teams ever. Tito Santana is fine, but Nikolai Volkoff, and The Bushwackers are three partners that don't exactly fill you with much enthusiasm. Their opponents were the equally uninspiring team of Sgt. Slaughter, Boris Zhukov, and The Orient Express.
The entire match lasted just over 10 minutes and although Santana did eliminate two of his opponents he didn't actually win the match. With only Santana and Slaughter left, the babyface got smacked in the head by an Iraqi flag (this was during Slaughter's ill-advised Iraqi sympathiser gimmick) courtesy of General Adnan, prompting the disqualification.
If it weren't for the finish we probably wouldn't be so harsh on poor Tito but he technically didn't win the match of his own accord, which kind of spoils his victory. Later that evening he would team with Hulk Hogan and The Ultimate Warrior against a team of heels but he was the only face to be eliminated. Poor, poor Tito.
