Ranking Every TLC Match In WWE History - From Worst To Best
3. The Shield Vs. Team Hell No & Ryback (TLC 2012)
861712Though most TLC matches tend to be contested for a Championship of some sort, that doesn’t always have to be the case; as was proved at TLC 2012 when the Shield faced Team Hell No and Ryback in an awesome six-man tag bout.
In what was the Shield’s first official match in WWE, the newcomers put on a masterclass of a performance with their awesome blend of merciless triple-teaming and a cavalier attitude, which saw Ryback and Daniel Bryan bundled through tables, before Seth Rollins himself took one for the team as he fell from a ladder through two tables on the stage.
This match was so much more than a series of stunts though. It’s pacing was perfect as each of the six-men were used to full effect, while the execution was likely aided by the talents and experience of Bryan and Kane.
Whether it’s tag team proficiency that floats your boat, or if a reckless spot-fest is more your cup of tea, this one had something for everyone—including an exciting glimpse into the future of WWE.
