Ranking Every TLC Match In WWE History - From Worst To Best

1. TLC II (WrestleMania X-Seven)

First TLC Match - SummerSlam

As great as that first-ever TLC match was though, the same trio of tag teams usurped their own lofty standards less than eight months later on the grandest of stages at WrestleMania X-Seven.

This time it was the Dudleyz who entered the mix as champions, but again the result proved to be the same—both in terms of the eventual victors and the fact that they absolutely tore the house down in the process.

The six-man affair escalated into what was essentially a nine-person fracas, with Spike Dudley, Rhyno and Lita each getting involved. That in itself opened plenty more doors in terms of how they could outdo the events of TLC I, but it was so much than mere outside interference that made this one such a classic.

Admittedly it was closer to the spot-fest end of the spectrum, but when some of those spots included Jeff Hardy dangling from the overhanging belts and taking a flying Spear from Edge off a ladder, even the most traditional of wrestling purists would have to admit this was special. I’d have a go at listing more of the highlights but truth be told we probably don’t have time for them all...

Instead, I’ll settle on saying that I doubt we’ll ever see a better TLC match than this WrestleMania X-Seven rendition. One thing’s for sure; we certainly haven’t seen one yet.
