Ranking Every TNA Era From Worst To Best
It hasn't been all bad!
Since 2002, TNA has gone through a series of major changes. Not just with the wrestlers they've pushed, the various writing teams in control, or different announcers who have been hired, but also because of the never-ending ride of when and where Impact will air!
From the beginning, TNA's main show started as a two hour pay-per-view every Wednesday. Then it moved to Fox Sports on Friday afternoons. When it was cancelled, it became an Internet only show. It was then picked up by Spike TV, airing Saturday nights, then they moved to Thursday nights, then placed on Mondays, then back to Thursdays. Another cancellation moved them over to Destination America, then one more cancellation landed them on Pop TV on Wednesdays. Most recently they moved once again to Thursdays. It’s quite possible I missed something in there.
In contrast, look at Monday Night Raw. They've gone from USA to TNN/Spike, and then right on back to USA. That's all since 1993.
While TNA has lived through so many eras, they could perhaps embark on their biggest one yet if Dixie Carter finally sells the company. It would be the first time since the very first few weeks at the Nashville Fairgrounds that she hasn’t had final say on everything...which is a bit unfortunate, as she often makes really bad decisions. Somehow, though, they continue to survive.
Now, let's take a look back at how they've fared through the years. From TNA’s humble beginnings to their current run on Pop TV, here is every era they've gone through so far, ranked from the worst to the best.
