Ranking Every Triple H Vs Mick Foley WWE Pay-Per-View Match - From Worst To Best

3. Hunter Hearst Helmsley Vs Mankind (In Your House: Canadian Stampede)

Triple H Cactus Jack

An experimental effort for WWE, Mankind and Hunter Hearst Helmsley's show-long brawl ensured a violent thread ran throughout one of the company's best ever pay-per-views.

Opening the show as they would do in more confined circumstances a month later, the pair laid into one another in the aftermath of Triple H's brutal beatdown at the King of the Ring, with a 13 minute match gradually degenerating into an all-out brawl that could no longer be contained by the framework of a traditional match.

It suited the reckless and dangerous style that would come to define their wars, as the two fought through the crowd and into various backstage areas in a chaotic fistfight unabated by the host of feckless officials sent to prize them apart.

It was revisited in the show shortly ahead of the Great Sasuke/Taka Michinoku clash, with the pair's untamed war bursting back onto the scene, ultimately concluding in the outside parking lot where a bloodied Triple H tried in vain to escape Calgary with his career in tact.

Foreshadowing the exceptional Raw contest they'd have in October when Cactus Jack return, the pair also set the stage for their explosive, industry-defining battles three years later.
