A delightful Pedigree-induced near-fall in the closing stages soon gave way to an emphatic running knee for Bryan to progress to the main event on the night.

But not before The Game and his wife landed a few more sadistic cheap-shots to really infuse some extra spice and anxiety into the incoming Miracle on Bourbon Street.
