Ranking Every Undertaker Championship Win From Worst To Best

9. USWA World Heavyweight Champion - 1989

There is always something special about the very first one. And his United States Wrestling Association World Heavyweight Championship win in 1989, was Mr. Calaway’s first-ever major title in the world of professional wrestling.

Back then he used to be known as the Master of Pain, a former convict who had just been released from prison after serving time for a double murder (dark!). He translated the psychotic killer persona into his matches too and, just one week after his debut, he challenged the World Champion at the time - none other than Jerry Lawler - to a title bout.

The Master of Pain inflicted plenty of it on the King and won the belt in what was effectively a squash. His reign didn’t last long, but this was certainly prelude of what the wrestling world was about to experience in the subsequent decades.
