Belts are simply better when they're being held by heels and chased by babyfaces. However, it must be taken into account how good a title victory feels - and Zayn and Owens could get by on that alone this year.
Having the two former indie darlings and real life best friends capture the tag championship in the main event of WrestleMania was an undeniable feel-good moment. It also ensured it gave them plenty to do in the aftermath of their feud with the Bloodline too, which helped to cement them as some of the more prominent babyfaces in WWE - something that would've seemed very unlikely just a few short years ago.
The reign was a decently fun 154-days, where Owens and Zayn were booked in several really fun tag matches, defending the belts against the likes of Pretty Deadly and Imperium on free TV.
