Ranking Every WWE Championship Reign Of 2023

Now known as the Women's World Championship, before June 2023 it was the SmackDown Women's Championship... also known as "Charlotte's Homecoming Gift".

Just over 3000 days have passed since her NXT debut and Charlotte has held gold for about 1000 of them - so suffice to say this is just another tired reign in Flair's career. If anything, this run seemed particularly egregious, since it started with the Queen beating an already tired Ronda Rousey for the belt in less than a minute. And in the three months she held it in 2023?

Quite unremarkable.

She at least defended it against Sonya Deville, who had had minimal championship contention up to that point, but it was clearly just a holding pattern.

This run was surely set up just for Ripley to finally get her much-needed WrestleMania win back against Flair. It served its purpose, but fans spent all of Charlotte's reign waiting for it to be over.
