9. Braun Strowman

File this under 'Should've Been Awesome' too.

Braun Strowman is at his best when WWE book him as a wrecking ball force who's unstoppable once he gets going. That is, after all, why he got that 'Strowman Express' nickname and that 'trainnoise1.wav' sound before his entrance theme kicks in. It's just a pity that his 2020 heel(-ish) turn was so botched.

Bray Wyatt's 'Fiend' toyed with and tortured Braun's mind during a summer rivalry, and that led the big man down a dark path. He appeared to lose any shred of common decency because of those mind games, then shaved his head and started dressing like Kurrgan during the old Truth Commission days in the late-90s.

The switch hasn't done much for Strowman though. He had a mediocre 2020 despite winning the Universal Title at WrestleMania 36 (as a late replacement for Roman Reigns), and hasn't kicked on since moving to Raw in the Draft.

It's hard to know where WWE go with the once-popular destroyer next.
