Surprise!

Yes, even Bray Wyatt's classic character has been affected by the rise of the 'Fiend'. Last year, at 'The Horror Show At Extreme Rules', Bray brought his old cult-leader persona out of retirement to work an awful cinematic clusterf*ck with Braun Strowman. Something was different than before though.

Wyatt's soft-spoken-but-definitely-chilling Max Cady take off didn't carry the same weight of threat as before. Being honest, he barely seemed cool or outlandish at all, which is fairly remarkable when one thinks that the gimmick was once his bread and butter for years; against Braun, vintage Bray appeared so tame.

That wouldn't be the case had the 'Fiend' not come along and smacked everyone over the head with a mix of movie monster moods and Mankind-like vibes. His new character's instant head-turning excitement forced Wyatt's prior freakiness to fade.

It defo didn't help that the 'Wyatt Swamp Fight' he worked with Braun was an abject disaster.
