Ranking Every WWE Elimination Chamber Match In History
4. Edge Vs. Rey Mysterio Vs. Chris Jericho Vs. John Cena Vs. Mike Knox Vs. Kane (No Way Out 2009)
Of course, that wasn’t the only shock Edge provided us with that night. Just an hour or two later, he helped himself to another record when he became the first man in history to enter two separate Elimination Chamber matches in the space of a single night.
His opportunity arose after jumping Kofi Kingston and claiming his spot in the match for himself, but he wasn’t just there to make up the numbers. Edge managed to pull off the heist of all heists when he outlasted everyone to end the night as World Heavyweight Champion, having begun it as WWE Champion.
That kind of drama is enough in itself to make this one a classic but on top of all that, Edge’s journey to victory was really nicely booked.
In a similar situation to the first match of the night, defending champion John Cena was eliminated relatively early to set up a championship free-for-all. The final three saw Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio, and Edge square off, with the latter scoring the decisive pinfall to cap off one of the most dramatic turnarounds in WWE history.
That alone is enough to see this one rank ever so slightly higher than the evening's earlier Chamber match.
