Ranking Every WWE Elimination Chamber Match In History
5. Triple H Vs. The Undertaker Vs. Jeff Hardy Vs. Big Show Vs. Vladimir Kozlov Vs. Edge (No Way Out 2009)
Luckily for Jeff Hardy, he wasn’t in the dog house for too long. Just 12 months later, at No Way Out 2009, he once again entered the Elimination Chamber and played a major role in the match’s big shock.
Less than three minutes into the action, Hardy pinned Edge—who had entered the match as the defending WWE Champion. It was an unprecedented move: never before and never again has a champion been eliminated so quickly.
That little piece of history blew the contest wide open. With Triple H, the Undertaker and Big Show in the mix, not to mention the fact that Hardy had won his maiden world title just a few months prior in December, there were now four viable candidates to be crowned the new world champion.
Ultimately it came down to Triple H and the Undertaker, and the future WrestleMania foes put on an absolute clinic, finishing the match as excitingly as it started. A new champion, some great action, and the massive surprise of Edge’s elimination made this one a clash to remember.
