7. Dark Clouds

WWE may have been "the revolutionary force in Sports Entertainment" for "over 50 years" but the company itself was lightyears behind WCW as these intros aired. It may be why dark thunder clouds loom around the logo or - in a red variation of the same signature - the company appears to be trapped in hell.

The foreboding doom lends itself well to the company's troubling times, particularly when feeding into the era-defining WrestleMania 13 shortly before it's disappearance and the company's rise from the ashes.
