Ranking Every WWE PPV Named After Wrestlers From Worst To Best
2. Fastlane (Daniel Bryan & Roman Reigns)
OK, so this, this is cheating slightly. Hear us out.
Fastlane only became a pay-per-view when Roman Reigns vs. Daniel Bryan was set up to see who would challenge for the WWE Title at WrestleMania 31. The concept was straightforward enough: whichever man won would pull into the fast lane towards 'Mania and the other would be consumed by fiery wreckage by the roadside.
All very dramatic, but a nice idea to sell the show and offer something different to the more-established Elimination Chamber pit stop between the Royal Rumble and WrestleMania. Without the Bryan vs. Reigns match though, the name wouldn't have meant anything, and would in fact have sucked even more than some still think it does.
The headliner was superb, Rusev vs. John Cena for the US Title was a nice distraction on the undercard and Goldust vs. Stardust, whilst short, let two brothers scratch an itch. People can say what they want about Reigns' and his mega-push, but his performance ruled here.
Best Match: Daniel Bryan vs. Roman Reigns.
Worst Match: Nikki Bella vs. Paige.
