8. NXT UK TakeOver: Blackpool

NXT UK is perhaps the most overlooked branch of WWE's product, and that's a shame. Acts like Grizzled Young Veterans, Gallus, Jordan Devlin and Kay Lee Ray are all worth checking out if you usually give them a miss, and they sparkled inside Blackpool's atmospheric Empress Ballroom on 12 January.

This, admittedly low key start to 2020's pay-per-view calendar, was a night of big bumps and robust wrestling that played before a red hot live crowd. It's just a pity that more people may never care about NXT UK or view it as an important part of the WWE umbrella. WWE's UK division, sadly, carries that curious outsider vibe.

The roster's collective star power and importance suffers because of that.

Joe Coffey vs. Walter, a four-way ladder war for the tag belts, Tyler Bate vs. Jordan Devlin and a fun three-way for the NXT UK Women's Title were all fun, but WWE must do more to promote the brand if it's ever going to become more than a well-funded UK indy.
