Ranking Every WWE Raw Anniversary Show From Worst To Best

3. Raw's 1st Anniversary (10 January 1994)

Watched out of context on the WWE Network, there's almost an innocence to one hour editions of Raw at this point. Particularly in the case of the pre-Nitro editions that largely struggle to deviate from the studio taping format that made up virtually all of WWE's television output for the preview few decades.

As a result, the celebration of Raw's first year on the air (predictably misrepresented as its anniversary) was a rather quaint affair in comparison to the grandiose efforts of the present day.

What it had, magnificently, was wrestling. Great wrestling, in fact. The show opened with a sensational Tag Team Title contest between Champions The Quebecers and a Marty Jannetty/1-2-3 Kid pairing that had emerged from the 1993 Survivor Series as a formidable double act.

The underdogs snaring the belts just a fortnight before Jacques and Pierre were locked in to face Bret and Owen Hart at January's Royal Rumble made for a blockbuster alternative universe scenario until the former champions regained their titles a week later.

Elsewhere, Randy Savage wore an absolutely stunning Monday Night Raw-inspired outfit and slammed an on-brand cake into IRS' face, The Undertaker won a squash in preparation for an impending WWE Title match with Yokozuna, and Bam Bam Bigelow was successful in a rare heel/heel contest against Bastion Booger.
